domed

I thought some of you might like to see how I dome my stamped discs. I put them on a wooden cube called a "doming block", and hammer a rounded wooden shaft into the flat disc until its domed.

Sometimes I feel like I'm being "domed". Like God, the master jeweler, if you will, is shaping me and molding me into a rounded dome. Does that make sense? He's hammering and sanding and making me into the shape He wants me to be. And sometimes the process can be painful and uncomfortable. 

Being s t r e t c h e d isn't easy. 

But, the rewards are great! 

And I will be thankful in the end for the refining and purifying....
