going on a plane

My sweet sister in law (who also happens to be my best friend) lost her father recently. He battled illness for many years. I am flying to Minnesota tomorrow to sing at his memorial service.

Paula's dad was a botanist, and he loved dragonflies. Paula asked me to make these dragonfly necklaces (minus the crystal) to give to the women that will be there at the service. (She's giving the men some other gift). She thought they would be a beautiful reminder of her dad, or "Dr. Z", as he was affectionately called.

I'm singing Amazing Grace, and also this beautiful song called "You Hold Me Now".

Please pray that it will be a blessing to everyone, especially to Paula. I know she's going through a hard time, and I am hoping and praying that my time out there in Minnesota will be filled with ministry to my sweet sweet sister-in-law.

Also, please pray that Clint will do well with the kiddos while I'm away. This is the first time I've ever been away from all the kids for this long. (And its been about 7 years since I've flown on an airplane) It's going to be quite an adventure for me!

  3. It's raining and I can't get a long enough signal to get the video to load. I will have to come back to listen.

May God hold you in his hands as you travel and sing at the service for your friend's Dad.
