the oldest and the youngest watching the snow fall last night
(can you even handle the sweetness of this picture?!)
it was coming down pretty hard last night!
the boys and i barely had enough time to go get more firewood out in the backyard!
our front yard went from this...
to this! beautiful!!
winter wonderland!
the sky is always so blue when there is snow on the ground...
our ever shrinking woodpile..
Clint's gonna have to do some wood chopping soon!
snow on the branches
even our little angel got a dusting of snow on her wings!
This snow is such a gift from the Lord. We don't get much of it around these parts, so when we do, it's very exciting! The children can't wait to go out and play! I am content to just look at it out my window while i sit next to a roaring fire! :)
I've been meditating on this scripture ever since the snow first started to fall yesterday afternoon.
"Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD.
"Though your sins
are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red
as crimson, they shall be like wool."
Isaiah 1:18

Oh Lora- what magic! Lucky lucky you! :)
ReplyDeletewe don't get much snow here either- how gorgeous does your backyard look! Enjoy all that beauty!
(love that first picture of oldest and youngest)
I hate to sound ungrateful but I am so over snow this year -smile-.
ReplyDeleteI was at the beach in MD this weekend, and it snowed there too! CRAZY!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine a winter without loads of snow! (I grew up in New England and still reside here) Despite that, it's always magical each time we get our first snow...and sometimes even the 4th major blizzard can bring the same reaction! Ha ha!!
ReplyDeleteSweet pictures, Lora! Looks like great snowman making snow! Enjoy!
