picnic in the backyard

Last night before bedtime, I read a Winnie the Pooh book called "Weather or Not" to the three littles. (Benjamin and Leo are with Clint's parents for five days in south Georgia, so I've just got three kiddos this week!) The book was about a picnic that Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore had. After we finished the book, I suggested to the children that we try to make a picnic the next day just like Winnie the Pooh's. Here's photos of our picnic today in the backyard. The children were delighted, and had so much fun looking at the pictures in the book and trying to copy every little detail of the picnic so ours would look just like the one in the book. It was really fun!

honey (of course) & jam and bread
(and I added carrots and juice for a little nutritional value! haha)

pretty cups and plates

(this photo makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. :) )

me, finding joy in the little things!

 enjoying their "Pooh's picnic"!

Hope you've had a wonderful day, too!
