the best part of my Thanksgiving table

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I stayed up late last night getting our dining room table all dressed up for the big day today. Thanksgiving really snuck up on me this year, probably because I've been so busy with my booths at Harvest Fest and the Women's Conference. Honestly, I hadn't really done a thing to get ready until yesterday! So, I gathered some pretty things together last night that I've used in Thanksgivings past, and set my table at midnight.

It's kind of a mish-mash of different patterns and prints. But I kinda like it. :)
It's very "me".

Benjamin and Leo made these woven placemats at school, and I was thrilled to put them on our Thanksgiving table. When Benjamin came downstairs this morning, he said, "Mom, did you make that tablecloth to match my placemat?"  I hadn't even noticed that my patchwork tablecloth really does match their placemats! Neat, huh? :)

My very humble centerpiece.
I took the little pumpkin that's been outside my front door all autumn, and put it on the table, surrounded by walnuts and special cards from loved ones.

It's not the most "put together" Thanksgiving table I've ever set, but it's sweet and special.

And there's six chairs around it, plus a highchair.

That's the best part of my table - hands down.

This Thanksgiving, I'm especially thankful for all of my family

For my amazing husband
(who wants to cook the entire meal today - can you even believe that?!)

For my five incredible children.
(who fill my heart with so much joy)

And most of all,
I'm thankful for Jesus.

I feel so blessed that I know Him! He has been so good to me!
